Monday, November 22nd – saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $4.780, nearly twenty-nine cents below Friday’s closing price of $5.065. Slipping to an eleven-week intraday low of $4.648 by 9:20AM, forecasts turned bearish over the weekend for the first week in December. Recovering to trade near $4.820 by 11:00AM, the contract traded sideways for the duration of the session. Marking an intraday high of $4.847 ahead of 2:30PM, December closed lower on Monday at $4.789.
As of 6:35AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 95 cents; Natural Gas was up twenty cents; Heating Oil was down two cents; and Gasoline was down three cents.
