Monday, November 15th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $4.784, a penny below Friday’s closing price of $4.791. Tallying the intraday low of $4.781 within the day’s opening minutes, the contract mounted a cautious ascent to $4.90 by 10:30AM. Updated cooler forecasts provided momentum as the afternoon drew on. Tallying an intraday high of $5.024 ahead of 2:30PM, December closed higher on Monday at $5.017.
As of 6:10AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 39 cents; Natural Gas was up 15 cents; Heating Oil was up three cents; and Gasoline was up two cents.
