Monday, February 8th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.916, nearly five cents above Friday’s closing price of $2.863. Recording an intraday high of $2.930 within the session’s opening minutes, the contract then trended lower until finding support near $2.885 at 9:30AM. Falling to an intraday low of $2.844 at 12:20PM, March closed higher on Monday at $2.882.
As of 7:15AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was unchanged; Natural Gas was down six cents; Heating Oil was up three cents; and Gasoline was down slightly.
