Tuesday, June 30th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $1.762, five cents above Monday’s closing price of $1.709. Prices rose to an intraday high of $1.784 by 9:10AM, only to step lower throughout the morning and into the early afternoon. Falling to an intraday low of $1.712 at 12:10PM and again at 1:30PM, the August contract closed higher on Tuesday at $1.751.
As of 7:05AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 58 cents; Natural Gas was down three cents; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up three cents.
