Friday, July 26th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.198, more than four cents below Thursday’s closing price of $2.244. Reaching up to an intraday high of $2.201 within minutes of the opening bell, the contract hovered along $2.190 until dwindling lower ahead of midday. Posting a gradual descent to a one-month intraday low of $2.167 at 2:20PM, August closed lower on Friday at $2.169.
As of 9:00AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up seven cents; Natural Gas was down one cent; Heating Oil was up slightly; and Gasoline was down one cent.
