December NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts Closed at $3.284 on Friday, November 2nd

Friday, November 2nd saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $3.185, five cents below Wednesday’s closing price of $3.237.  Ascending from the intraday low of $3.166 at 9:10AM, prices then rose to the $3.20 where they stabilized through midday.  Launching upward through the afternoon due to updated bullish weather forecasts, the contract notched the intraday high of $3.313 ahead of 2:00PM as December closed higher on Friday at $3.284.

This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 19 cents; Natural Gas was up 26 cents; Heating Oil was up two cents; and Gasoline was unchanged.
