Monday, August 8th saw the September NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $7.663, forty cents below Friday’s closing price $8.064. Tallying the intraday low of $7.569 by 9:45AM, further diminished forecasts over the weekend for lighter cooling demand in the coming weeks sank Natural Gas futures. Marking the intraday high of $7.789 at 12:20PM, September closed lower on Monday at $7.589.
As of 8:00AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up $1.02; Natural Gas was up 13 cents; Heating Oil was up 13 cents; and Gasoline was up five cents.
