Tuesday, October 9th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $3.302, nearly four cents above Monday’s closing price of $3.267. Experiencing volatility throughout the morning, prices slipped below $3.270 at 10:00AM only to jump to a fresh intraday high of $3.304 fifty minutes later. Cascading lower into the afternoon to reach the intraday low of $3.237 at 1:10PM, November proceeded to closed relatively flat on Tuesday at $3.266.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 38 cents; Natural Gas was up nine cents; Heating Oil was down one cent; and, Gasoline was down one cent.
