Tuesday, February 6th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.712, three cents below Monday’s closing price of $2.747. Falling to the intraday low of $2.695 ahead of 9:30AM, the lack of fundamental support overnight proved too formidable for technical trading to overcome. March closed slightly higher on Tuesday at $2.759.
