March NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts Closed at $2.621 on Friday, February 15th

Friday, February 15th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.601, three cents above Thursday’s closing price of $2.573. Jumping higher soon after markets opened to surpass the $2.61 level, prices then stepped downward over the subsequent ninety minutes to mark the intraday low of $2.585 ahead of 11:00AM. Ascending steadily into the afternoon, March tallied an intraday high of $2.631 before closing higher on Friday at $2.621.

This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 17 cents; Natural Gas was has retreated by two cents; Heat-ing Oil fell two cents; and Gasoline was down one cents. Additionally, cash prices were lower in New York and in New England.
