Tuesday, June 5th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.910, two cents below Monday’s closing price of $2.930. Posting a momentary jump to the intraday high of $2.912 as markets opened, prices soon cascaded downward to mark the intraday low of $2.875 ten minutes later. Fluctuating within a penny of the $2.89 mark for the balance of the day, July closed lower at $2.890 on Tuesday as bearish weather continues to sap demand.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 46 cents; Natural Gas was down one cent; Heating Oil was down one cent; and, Gasoline was down two cents.
