Friday, November 27th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.899, six cents below Wednesday’s closing price $2.961. Reaching an intraday high of $2.906 by 9:15AM, the contract trended decidedly lower throughout the day, as forecasts remain unsupportive. Tallying an intraday low of $2.828 at 12:50PM, the January contract closed lower on Friday at $2.843.
As of 9:05AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 12 cents; Natural Gas was up 11 cents; Heating Oil was down slightly; and Gasoline was down slightly.
