November NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract Closed at $5.999 on Monday, October 17th

Monday, October 17th saw the November NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $6.067, thirty-nine cents below Friday’s closing price of $6.453. Marking the intraday high of $6.070 soon after the opening bell and a two-month intraday low of $5.912 an hour later, the contract was relatively steady throughout the session. Following a bearish shift in the latest weather forecast, traders held tight throughout Monday’s session after the weekend selloff. November closed lower on Monday at $5.999.

As of 7:20AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 42 cents; Natural Gas was down one cent; Heating Oil was up slightly; and Gasoline was down two cents.
