August NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract Closed at $7.479 on Monday, July 18th

Monday, July 18th saw the August NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $7.248, five cents below Thursday’s closing price of $7.016. Marking the intraday low of $7.227 out of the gate, prices floated higher to continue to previous session’s rally. Peaking at an intraday high of $7.554 by midday, the contract traded along either side of $7.460 for the balance of the day as above-average temperatures persist across much of the county and could extend into the end of the month. August closed higher on Monday at $7.479

As of 7:45AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down $2.46; Natural Gas was down 24 cents; Heating Oil was down 13 cents; and Gasoline was down four cents.
