Tuesday, July 14th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $1.724, nearly two cents below Monday’s closing price of $1.739. Slipping to an intraday low of $1.717 just after 9:30AM, prices rose in the following two hours to reach an intraday high of $1.771. Trading sideways along $1.745 for the balance of the session, August closed higher on Tuesday at $1.746.
As of 7:10AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 65 cents; Natural Gas was up one cent; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up three cents.
