Tuesday, September 17th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.649, three cents below Monday’s closing price of $2.681. Falling to an intraday low of $2.628 by 9:10AM, the contract spent the morning hours gradually climbing to an intraday high of $2.702 at 11:40AM. Shedding a few cents throughout the afternoon, October closed lower on Tuesday at $2.668.
As of 8:55AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down $1.00; Natural Gas was up two cents; Heating Oil was down two cents; and Gasoline was down three cents.
