Friday, July 20th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.764, slightly below Thursday’s closing price of $2.769. Building upon Thursday’s storage induced gains, prices ascended to the intraday high of $2.784 by 9:20AM. Retreating to fluctuate along the $2.77 mark through 1:30PM, the contract slipped to the intraday low of $2.754 as limited demand is expected in the coming week. August proceeded to close lower on Friday at $2.757.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 87 cents; Natural Gas was down four cents; Heating Oil was up three cents; and, Gasoline was up two cents.
