Friday, August 10th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.924, three cents below Thursday’s closing price of $2.955. Reclaiming lost territory in pre-market trading, prices buoyed upward above $2.940 ahead of 10:30AM. Holding steady on expectations for increased demand behind warmer temperatures, the contract rose to the intraday high of $2.947 as September closed lower on Friday at $2.944.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 34 cents; Natural Gas was down one cent; Heating Oil was down slightly; and, Gasoline was down two cents.
