Bulk
Sprague unloads, piles, stores and loads out an ever growing list of materials—from gypsum to road salt, petroleum coke, coal and slag. Our docks are available 24 hours a day, so you can plan the most efficient schedule for your project.

With terminals throughout the Northeast and a wide variety of equipment and storage options, Sprague offers a wide array of breakbulk materials handling services from rolled paper to baled wood pulp, palletized cargo and super sacks. We make our docks available 24 hours a day, so you have the flexibility to plan the most efficient schedule for your project.

Liquid Storage
At Sprague, our priority is to operate our terminals with maximum efficiency—ensuring the safe transport and storage of the products you place in our care. We offer storage for a wide array of liquid products handling and have heated tankage for products like liquid asphalt, clay slurry and tallow. All Sprague facilities are staffed by our own experienced employees, providing a single point of contact for all your material handling requirements.

We have rail transfer capabilities in multiple terminals and our docks are available 24 hours a day, so you can plan the most efficient schedule for your project.
Sprague’s capabilities include:
- Operating vessel and ship side cranes
- Truck transfer to and from dock using oversized specialty trailers
- Ground storage for weeks or months
- Loading or unloading product into trucks or railcars to meet customer construction schedules
- Rail transload via 140 Ton Mobile Harbor Crane or jack and slide to provide access to all of North America

Do you offer truck transfer to and from the dock?
Yes. We offer loading or unloading of products into trucks railcars, can operate vessel and ship side cranes, and offer truck transfer to and from the dock using oversized specialty trailers as needed.
