Tuesday, May 8th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.760, two cents above Monday’s closing price of $2.741. Posting gains once again in pre-market trading, prices rose to the intraday high of $2.764 shortly after 9:00AM. Trailing downward to mark the intraday low of $2.706 by 11:20AM, temperatures are expected to remain comfortable for much of the northeast in the short term. Rising cautiously into the afternoon, June closed lower on Tuesday at $2.732.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up $1.67; Natural Gas was up two cents; Heating Oil was up five cents; and, Gasoline was up four cents.
