Tuesday, May 25th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.921, four cents above Monday’s closing price of 2.886. Ascending to an intraday high of $2.924 within minutes of the opening bell, prices moved lower to mark an intraday low of $2.888 at 10:20AM. Recovering to cross midday near $2.905, June closed higher on Tuesday at $2.913.
As of 8:00AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 19 cents; Natural Gas was up three cents; Heating Oil was down one cent; and Gasoline was up slightly.
