July NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract Closed at $8.609 on Monday, June 13th

Monday, June 13th saw the July NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $8.782, seven cents below Friday’s closing price of $8.850. Recording an intraday high of $8.924 ahead of 9:30AM, prices then tumbled until finding the intraday low of $8.382 at 11:05AM. Trading along the $8.575 mark throughout the afternoon, bearish sentiment surrounding limited LNG exports set in as the Freeport terminal will likely be offline for a month. July closed lower on Monday at $8.609.

As of 7:15AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 94 cents; Natural Gas was up 17 cents; Heating Oil was up six cents; and Gasoline was up four cents.
