Monday, December 27th – saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at an intraday low of $3.884, fifteen cents above Thursday’s closing price of $3.731. Prices saw steady, almost linear growth throughout the day. The contract plateaued at $4.000 around 12:00, before finding their intraday high of $4.077 at 2:30. The January contract closed out the day at $4.060.
As of 10:00AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up $.84; Natural Gas was down six cents; Heating Oil was up three cents; and Gasoline was up two cents.
