Monday July 15th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at 2.413, four cents below Friday’s closing price of $2.458. Natural Gas prices moved lower Monday, easing some of the impact Hurricane Barry has had on short-term demand. Prices steadied after reaching the intra-day low of $2.383 at 12:20PM. August closed lower on Monday at $2.408.
As of 8:55AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 22 cents; Natural Gas was down 7 cents; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up one cent.
