Tuesday, March 6th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.732, three cents above Monday’s closing price of $2.704. Directed higher overnight by below-average forecasts, prices traded along the $2.74 mark for the majority of the morning. Slipping to the intraday low of $2.724 at 11:30AM, the contract recovered into the afternoon to reach the intraday high of $2.752 ahead of 2:30PM. April closed higher on Tuesday at $2.749.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 25 cents; Natural Gas was up two cents; Heating Oil was down slightly; and, Gasoline was up one cent.
