Monday, March 14th saw the April NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at of $4.609 eleven cents below Friday’s closing price of $4.725. Knocked down overnight by bearish forecasts to cover the second half of March, an ascent to the intraday high of $4.699 at 9:50AM soon lost momentum. Falling to the intraday low of $4.562 by midday, April rose higher throughout the afternoon to close lower on Monday at $4.658.
As of 7:35AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down $8.85; Natural Gas was down 13 cents; Heating Oil was down 30 cents; and Gasoline was down 22 cents.
