Tuesday, May 1st saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.791, three cents above Monday’s closing price of $2.763. Rising to the intraday high of $2.820 soon after trading opened, prices then fluctuated within a penny of the $2.81 mark for the balance of the morning. Slipping to the intraday low of $2.775 by 1:30PM, June recovered in the following hour to close higher on Tuesday at $2.802.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 10 cents; Natural Gas was down three cents; Heating Oil was down slightly; and, Gasoline was down one cent.
