Friday, April 20th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.676, nearly two cents above Thursday’s closing price of $2.661. Rising confidently as trading opened, prices rose to $2.718 shortly after 10:00AM and marked the intraday high of $2.746 by 12:20PM. Supported by short covering, May traded steadily along $2.735 into the afternoon, closing higher on Friday at $2.739.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 99 cents; Natural Gas was down three cents; Heating Oil was down two cents; and, Gasoline was down two cents.
