Friday, October 30th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $3.284, two cents below Thursday’s closing price $3.301. Falling to an intraday low of $3.256 by 9:30AM, the contract then mounted a steady ascent to cross midday at $3.302 and continued higher. Spurred on by below average temperatures, prices rose to an intraday high of $3.368 at 2:10PM. The December contract closed higher on Friday at $3.354
As of 8:35AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was unchanged; Natural Gas was down eight cents; Heating Oil was down one cent; and Gasoline was down one cent.
