November NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract Closed at $3.024 on Monday, October 26th

Monday, October 26th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $3.012 four cents above Friday’s closing price $2.971. Recording the intraday low and high within the initial 15 minutes of the sessions, $3.005 and 3.080 respectively, the contract found support near $3.035 for the majority of the day.  Holding onto last week’s gains are a bullish sign as November contract is set to expire Wednesday afternoon, with December moving to the prompt month position.  Both contracts closed higher on Monday, November at $3.024 and December at $3.253.

As of 8:30AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 23 cents; Natural Gas was unchanged; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up one cent.
