Tuesday, February 12th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.669, roughly six cents above Monday’s closing price of $2.642. Slipping to the intraday low of $2.640 by 9:30AM, prices soon trended higher as updated bullish forecasts provided support. Building gradually to the intraday high of $2.698 just before midday, the contract fluctuated along $2.685 over the balance of the day. March closed higher on Tuesday at $2.688.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 66 cents; Natural Gas was down nine cents; Heating Oil was up three cents; and Gasoline was up one cent.
