Friday, September 7th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.776, just above Thursday’s closing price of $2.772. Dropping to the intraday low of $2.759 by 9:30AM, the contract traded within a tight band along either side of $2.770 for the majority of the day. With little change to production and weather forecasts remaining steady, October notched an intraday high of $2.781 before closing slightly higher on Friday at $2.776.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 37 cents; Natural Gas was unchanged; Heating Oil was up one cent; and, Gasoline was up one cent.
