February NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract Closed at $2.444 on Tuesday, December 29th

Tuesday, December 29th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.377. Prices would increase from that point, as the February contract’s $2.377 opening price was also the intraday low. Prices began a staggered ascent after opening, working towards an intraday high of $2.486 at 1:40PM. After reaching their intraday high, prices dropped slightly before closing out the day at $2.444.

As of 10:15AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 28 cents; Natural Gas was up 1 cents; Heating Oil was up 1 cent; and Gasoline was up 2 cents.
