Tuesday, July 28th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $1.779, 4 cents above Monday’s closing price of $1.734. After a brief rally upon open, prices fell steadily to an intraday low of $1.753 at 12:00AM. After reaching the daily low, prices bounced back with a consistent ascent towards the intraday high of $1.803 at 2:20PM just before closing slightly lower at $1.798.
As of 11:00AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 25 cents; Natural Gas was up 2 cents; Heating Oil was up 1 cent; and Gasoline was down 2 cents.
