Tuesday, March 24th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $1.668, six cents above Monday’s closing price of $1.602. Trading gradually higher to an intraday high of $1.676 by 9:30AM, prices traded within two cents of $1.660 through the morning hours. Sinking to $1.640 soon after midday, as market conditions remain uncertain due to the Coronavirus epidemic, the contract fell to an intraday low of $1.628 at 2:00PM. April rallied finish the day, closing higher on Tuesday at $1.653.
As of 8:15AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 49 cents; Natural Gas was up two cents; Heating Oil was unchanged; and Gasoline was up two cents.
