August NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract Closed at $3.749 on Monday, July 12th

Monday, July 12th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at an intraday low of $3.700, three cents above Friday’s closing price of $3.674.  Prices reached their intraday high of $3.763 early on in the day at 10:00AM. After reaching the daily highpoint, prices temporarily dropped back down to near daily low levels. After this brief dip, prices rebounded to close out the day at $3.749.

As of 9:05AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up six cents; Natural Gas was down three cents; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up one cent.
