May NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract Closed at $2.623 on Tuesday, March 30th

Tuesday, March 30th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $2.636, two cents below Monday’s closing price of $2.653.  Trading alongside $2.635 through 10:30AM, marking an intraday high of $2.647, prices then moved lower to reach an intraday low of $2.597 just after midday.  Recovering to trade near $2.620 soon thereafter, May closed lower on Tuesday at $2.623.

As of 8:00AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up four cents; Natural Gas was up three cents; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up slightly.
