Tuesday, September 22nd saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract open at $1.863, three cents above Monday’s closing price of $1.835. Climbing to an intraday high of $1.890 by 9:20AM, prices soon trended lower, settling in near $1.830 ahead of midday. Tallying an intraday low of $1.811 at 2:00PM, the October contract closed nearly unchanged on Tuesday at $1.834.
As of 8:40AM EST this morning in Globex, WTI Crude was up 19 cents; Natural Gas was up 15 cents; Heating Oil was up one cent; and Gasoline was up two cents.
