Friday, February 22nd saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.693, nearly even to Thursday’s closing price of $2.697. Touching the intraday low of $2.681 shortly after markets opened, prices proceeded to hover along $2.695 into the early afternoon. Ascending past $2.700 by 1:00PM, the contract rose to the intraday high of $2.720 before closing higher on Friday at $2.717.
This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down $1.43; Natural Gas was up four cents; Heating Oil was down three cents; and Gasoline was down four cents.
