Sprague’s vast network of terminal assets grants the customer unparalleled access to strategically located deep water facilities throughout the Northeast. While serving the company’s internal energy supply and storage demands the terminals also provide a competitive platform for the handling of a wide variety of non-petroleum related products that arrive to these ports via water borne transportation.

To illustrate, your company may import/export raw materials or finished goods from domestic or international suppliers. These goods are carried by ocean going vessels and delivered to your choice port of call. Or maybe they are delivered to your company via rail or truck, but the economics might favor delivery by water borne transportation. It is the most economic method of transport! That’s where we can help.

We have proven success in handling a wide range of products such as liquid asphalt, road salt, cement, gypsum, iron ore, wood pulp, logs, coal, petcoke, caustic soda, aviation gasoline, baled wood pulp, tallow, calcium chloride and a variety of chemical products to name just a few. All deliver by ships and barges. But, we also handle these via rail delivery and truck delivery. We cover it all. In addition, we provide transload services moving product from one transport to another-rail to truck, truck to rail, vessel to rail, vessel to truck-you get the idea.
